Alyssa Danielle Navarro is a writer and researcher from Pulilan, Bulacan. She is currently studying Associate in Arts at the University of the Philippines Open University. She is part of Hilway Press and Community of Teachers and Writers.
Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Paper Trail Projects, grana books, Pinoy Weekly, Inquirer Young Blood, Talang Dalisay, The Archipelago Press, and Mountain Beacon. She was a fellow for maikling kwento during Palihang Rogelio Sicat 19. She was also a fellow for poetry during the March 2026 Philippines Graphic Literary Workshop. She is part of the 5th Saling Panitik: Bienvenido Lumbera Seminar-Palihan sa Pagsasalin, Pagsasalin bilang Pedagohiya.
She advocates for decolonial literature, informal literacy, alternative education, disability justice, collective care, and Palestinian liberation. She understands that every issue, no matter the location or scale, is interwoven and interlinked. In her spare time, she enjoys singing karaoke and eating pishbols dipped in vinegar. She believes that poetry, like bread, is for everyone.
