Ipinanganak sa Maynila, ako ay anak ng mga purong Bikolano ngunit lumaki sa Bulacan. Dito sa Bulacan nagsimula ang aking pagmamahal sa pagsulat at pagbigkas ng tula at talumpati mula elementarya hanggang kolehiyo. Pagkatapos ng kolehiyo, lumahok ako sa Palihang LIRA upang higit pang pagyamanin ang aking kasanayan sa tradisyonal na pagtula. Sa kasalukuyan, ipinagpapatuloy ko ang aking paglinang sa pagsusulat sa graduwadong paaralan.
