Jed Nykolle Harme is a proud Akeanon writer. She is a community journalist, an agriculture student, and a spoken word artist. Jed became a winner during the National Schools Press Conference in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. She became a fellow of PETA Lingap Sining, Cavite Young Writers Association, and Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika at Anyo. She was the only woman of Rappler’s Aries Rufo Journalism Fellowship for Campus Journalists and a delegate to NEDA VI’s Project MINI ME: Monitoring and Evaluation workshop. Her feature articles were published in Rappler, Inquirer, Explained PH, and The Cavite Rising. Her spoken word pieces can be found in PETA Lingap-Sining, Lungsod-Lungsuran of UP Likhaan, and Agwat-Hilom of the National Commission for Culture and Arts, Dinig, and Longos 4 of CYWA. She started the @KwenTotoo platform on Instagram where she shares her experiences with the people she encounters as a community journalist. When she is not writing feature articles or spending too much time preparing her drip coffee, she loves to color her hair and write poetry to organize her thoughts and experiences.
