Ton L. Daposala

Ton L. Daposala was born and raised in Cagayan de Oro City. He finished his Master of Arts in Literature at Xavier University in 2019. His works have appeared in Bisaya Magasin, Brown Child: The Best of Faigao Poetry & Fiction 1984-2012, The Best of Dagmay 2, Kinaadman Journal, Mindanao Harvest 4, Tinubdan: New Voices from Northern Mindanao, Dagat ug Kinabuhi: Translating Contemporary Cebuano Poetry, and Loch Raven Review. His works have also been published online in journals such as Kabisdak: Cebuano Literary Lighthouse, Dagmay Literary Journal, and TLDTD.org. He has been a fellow of the 18th Iligan National Writers Workshop and 27th Cornelio Faigao Memorial Writers Workshop in 2011, and the 57th UP National Writers Workshop in 2018. Ton is currently working as a faculty of the College of Communication, Art, and Design at the University of the Philippines Cebu. He has two librobalak or poetry collection in Cebuano—Basâ-Basa (2018) and Jamico Boys (2025).
