The Philippine Registry of Writers, Volume 1, also known as PRW 1, is the maiden databasing initiative to provide a three-part registry of literary writers in the Philippines. The said parts will be formatted as people registry, works registry, and allied service/resource registry. A collaborative effort by the UP Institute of Creative Writing of UP Diliman/UP Likhaan and the National Committee on Literary Arts (NCLA) of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), PRW 1 will be implemented from June 2024 to December 2024 with an expected digital output of first 50 names/individuals, only under 30 of age, and with selected hard copies in time for launch, also by November-December 2024, preferably during the UP Writers Night.
